The Heritage Preservation Commission is a Council appointed committee of the City of Fergus Falls. It was formed in 1974 to make recommendations on the preservation of the City's buildings, lands, areas or districts which are of historic significance.

Meeting Information

There is no June meeting of the HPC. Instead, a memo was circulated to members by City staff. The memo covers May highlights including Preservation Month walking tours and a SHPO grant award; George B. Wright Statue cleaning and 100th Anniversary Rededication planning; and a brief report on the Lake Region Healthcare campus and neighboring historic district discussion.

Otherwise, the Heritage Preservation Commission meets the 1st Wednesday of the month at noon in City Council Chambers.
